The Third and Long (TAL) Interactive Student Edition serves as a supplementary resource to T-Time Productions' documentary, Third and Long. The documentary employs the lens of professional football to examine the history of civil rights and racial progress in the United States, while also addressing themes such as leadership, diversity, courage, perseverance, inclusion, teamwork, social activism, and self-empowerment.

Through a combination of informative and engaging content, the TAL Interactive Student Edition offers a variety of instructional activities and features. These include interactive timelines, photo galleries, articles, infographics, primary source documents, and video clips from the film, all designed to promote student engagement and understanding.

The application emphasizes the development of critical thinking skills by incorporating student responses, discussion prompts, and essay questions.
